At alexzen.dev (hereinafter, "the Site") we respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you visit the Site, how it is used, and what third-party information is displayed on it. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this document.
1. Data Controller

2. Information We Do NOT Collect
The Site currently does not have contact forms, user registration, authentication systems, or any other functionality that captures, stores, or processes personally identifiable information from visitors (name, email address, phone number, etc.).
- We do not request or store visitors' contact information.
- We do not create user accounts or visitor profiles.
- We do not use advertising tracking cookies or third-party cookies for remarketing purposes.
3. Information Collected Automatically
While browsing the Site, certain analytics tools automatically collect aggregated and anonymous technical information about Site usage, such as:
- Pages visited and time spent on them.
- Device type, browser, and operating system.
- Approximate geographic location (country or city, not exact address).
- Traffic source (how you arrived at the Site).
- Technical performance metrics (load times, errors).
4. Third-Party Analytics Tools
4.1 Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand general browsing behavior on the Site on an aggregated basis. Google may process this information in accordance with its own privacy policies. 4.2 Vercel Analytics

4.3 Aggregated Nature of the Data
The information collected by these tools is presented in aggregated and statistical form; it is not used to individually identify a Site visitor.
5. Integrations with Third-Party APIs
The Site consumes public information through the GitHub and Spotify APIs to display dynamic content. This section clarifies the data handling related to these integrations:
5.1 GitHub API
The information displayed (contributions, repositories, activity streaks, programming languages) corresponds to my own public GitHub account. When you view this information, your browser makes requests to GitHub's servers, subject to GitHub's privacy policy, available at https://docs.github.com/en/site-policy/privacy-policies/github-privacy-statement.
5.2 Spotify API
The music information displayed (currently playing, recently played, most-listened artists and songs) corresponds to my own Spotify account and is obtained through authentication on my part, not yours. When you view this information, your browser may make requests to Spotify's servers, subject to Spotify's privacy policy, available at https://www.spotify.com/legal/privacy-policy/.
5.3 No Collection of Your Data Through These Integrations
These integrations do not collect, store, or process your personal information as a visitor; they only display public data or data belonging to the Site owner.
6. Links to External Sites and Platforms
The Site contains links to personal projects, third-party projects (clients), social media, professional platforms, and entertainment streaming services. By clicking these links, you will leave the Site and become subject to the privacy policies of the destination site, over which we have no control or responsibility.
7. Resume/CV Download
The Site allows direct download of a PDF file containing my resume/CV. This download does not require registration or the submission of personal data on your part; the file is served publicly and directly from the Site.
9. Legal Basis and Purpose of Processing
The processing of the aggregated technical information described in this policy has the sole purpose of understanding and improving the Site's performance and browsing experience, based on the legitimate interest of maintaining and optimizing the Site.
10. User Rights
Since we currently do not collect personally identifiable information, there is no need to exercise rights of access, rectification, cancellation, or objection (ARCO rights) over your personal data. If the Site incorporates forms or other functionality in the future that involve the collection of personal data, this policy will be updated to detail the corresponding procedure and the means to exercise those rights.
11. Minors
The Site is not directed at minors, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If the Site incorporates data collection mechanisms in the future, the corresponding protections will be applied in accordance with applicable law.
12. Information Security
The Site is hosted on Vercel infrastructure, which implements industry-standard security measures (HTTPS, protection against common attacks) to protect the integrity and availability of the Site, even when no visitor personal data is processed.
13. International Data Transfers
The analytics and hosting tools used (Google Analytics, Vercel) may process aggregated technical information on servers located outside of Mexico, in accordance with their own privacy policies and international compliance mechanisms.
14. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time, especially if the Site incorporates new functionality that involves the collection of personal data (for example, a contact form). Changes will take effect immediately upon posting on the Site. It is your responsibility to periodically review this policy.
15. Applicable Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of Mexico, including, where applicable, the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties.
